This is an Indian fast food outlet in the mid city. At first glance it looked ok so I ordered a standard 1 meat + 1 Veggie dish with rice. It’s been so long since I ordered this sort of fast food that I forgot to ask for the rice to be on a separate container as I dislike it when the dish loses all it’s liquid into the rice and becomes dry. Unfortunately most places will serve you your meat and rice on top of the rice and this outfit was no exception.
I asked for one serving of beef vindaloo and one serving of vegetable korma, my two favorite Indian dishes (when done right). The cost was $8.95 which is about average in the city. The service was efficient and friendly enough.
The food was not so good, the Vegetable Korma was dry, tasteless and unappetising. The beef vindaloo was hard, dry, and not nice at all. I was very disappointed in the food at North India and I would certainly not return to eat there.
