Masala - Bondi Junction

Situated in the Bondi Junction Food Court just below Harvey Norman, this fast food style outlet offer a basic Indian Cuisine Smorgasboard. prices are average at $7 - 15.
I ordered Beef Vindaloo & Vegetable Korma which came with rice which had obviously had turmeric added to it as it was yellow.I also ordered a piece of namn bread and in total my order came to $10.

The meal was ok since I was quite hungry but it was poorly made, dry and tasteless. the vindaloo was not anywhere near like a good vindaloo should taste like and the meat was dry. The korma was tasteless and it was like a child had prepared it as the vegetables seemed to be frozen from a supermarket budget line. It was not bad just really very budget and not in line with the type of shoppers that Bindi would cater for and I’m sure they expect much more than this. I guess this is they the shop was completely empty for all the time I was in the food court until I had finished my meal and a coffee from the shop next door.

If you are really hungry for Indian food then their are much better restaurants in the area where you will pay more but well with it unless you don’t care for tasteless and dry imitation Indian food.
