The Hong Kong, Eating World Food Court is located at the Eastern side of Chinatown in downtown Sydney. I’m not sure of the exact name of the shop but when you walk into the food court it is down the far end towards the right. This placed seemed one of the busiest which is always a good sign. I was looking for some type of Thai chili dish but this place seemed to have a nice dish that looked like what I wanted, called Red Chili Beef Soup. I placed my order in the hectic ordering which was a little scary.
I took out my camera and thought I would take a few photos while I waited for my food. But I was a little surprised when the woman yelled out “No Photo’s, No Photo’s, you can take a photo of your meal but not here” Ok, I said. When my meal came I also took some photos of the meal since I had actually paid for it and I gathered it was now my property and I could photograph it as much as I like but it was nice of this woman to remind me I was allowed to take photos of my own food,
Anyway, the meal was quite delicious, very tasty and obviously cooked by good chefs. I did have m doubts though about the cleanliness of the Eating World food court and the standards. All the kitchens looked quite dirty, the chefs and cooks had no uniforms, gloves or head wear. The tables were cluttered with dirty plates and cutlery. What annoyed me the most was the cleaning man decided to park his dirty dish trolley right next to where I was sitting and then started throwing scraps and dishes at his trolley until I told him to get out my face lol.
The food here tasted good but the place was very noisy and a bit dirty so I would be hesitant to return anytime soon.

Probably better places to eat in Sydney, at least less noisy.
