This bakery/cafe is located near Woolworth’s at the Stockland Shopping Centre in Glendale, Newcastle NSW. It has open air seating as well as dine in. I decided to purchase a pie and a coffee. The pie was just over $4 and with a small coffee it was $7+. I would have purchased a sausage roll too but at over $3 for one I was not going there and the small ones looked like 90% pastry.
The service was great, very friendly and responsive staff and they bought my pie out on a tray for me with the sauce I bought and left me a buzzer for when the coffee was ready. The pie had too much pastry and not enough meat although at least it was chunky steak in my beef and bacon pie. It was not fulfilling at all but I was not prepared to pay for another one. They did have other food offering as well that I might try next time I’m there. The coffee was very disappointing. While it looked good, it was tasteless and of inferior quality.
I enjoyed the location and atmosphere, the pie was ok so I will return to try out some other foods but I will be hesitant to order another coffee.
