I stopped off here tonight for a late dinner as I was held up and never had time to buy ingredients and cook my own food. I had already eaten a fair bit of Pizza lately with mixed results, including last evening. But there menu was limited beside pizza and the other pub seemed to have a slow service a few metres down the road. So it was the Australian to be and I found the bar girl to be friendly and offered a prompt and welcoming service.
I was pleasantly surprised to find Beez Neez beer served on tap, boy has a lot changed in Australia in 6 months including a new PM and maybe another one in days. I ordered a pizza that was called a bacon something and I requested to include chili and feta cheese. That was no problem and I was told it would be ready around 15 minutes time after I enquired.
I decided to sit outside as some of the bar patrons inside were a little drunk and nosiy but they left not long after I arrived and the place was peaceful and happy with a number of guests sitting outside next to the heated poles. It was a pleasant atmosphere for a chili Sunday evening.
The pizza arived in the expeected time frame. It looked somewhat small but it was decieving as it was very filling and robust. The pizza itself was abolutly delicious and easily the best pizza I had had in over 2 years. It was just gorgeous, original, tastly and very satisfying.
Get you butt down to the Australian sometime soon for a fantastic evening and a great pizza.
